Nelson's Retreat

Set within 50 yards of the lovely sandy beach and harbour this attractively furnished and very comfortable cottage sits opposite the church on a narrow winding lane in the heart of the quaint old fishing village of Gorran Haven. From the doorstep glorious clifftop walks along the dramatic coastline afford magnificent views at Dodman Point and the Pentewan cycleway lies 8 miles distant. Shops and restaurants in the bustling village of Mevagissy are just 5 miles away as are the wonderful Lost Gardens of Heligan whilst St Austell Charlestown harbour with its tall ships and the Eden Project are all a short drive. A 100 yard stroll leads to the village shop and a pub serving food (re-opening in 2010).
