A short journey to the east reaches the fine sandy surfing beaches of Widemouth Bay and Bude and the National Trust properties of Lanhydrock (20 miles) and Pencarrow House (13 miles) make interesting trips. Shops and pubs serving food in Camelford 2½ miles.
