Set within its own large apple orchard garden and only 200 yards from the welcoming village inn and shop it is surrounded by beautiful countryside criss crossed by numerous footpaths and bridleways. On the banks of the River Teme 9 miles away is Ludlow renowned for its splendid castle beautifully preserved medieval and Georgian buildings gourmet restaurants and National Hunt racecourse. Craven Arms home to Stokesay Castle and the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre is 6 miles away and there are several National Trust properties within a short drive. Wenlock Edge the Stretton Hills the historic town of Shrewsbury and the fascinating museums at Ironbridge Gorge are all easily accessible. Fishing and riding are available locally and golf at Ludlow.
