Bramble Cottage
Set beside a quiet country lane amidst a rolling rural landscape this charming cottage is beautifully furnished with period pieces and has stripped wood floors throughout. A wealth of activities and places of interest lie within easy reach – the area is excellent for golf (the nearest course is just 3 miles away) as well as riding (there is a riding school in Glenfarg 1 mile) and whilst the waters of nearby Loch Leven (5 miles) attract fly fishermen cyclists can explore the cycle path around the loch and bird watchers will head to its RSPB reserve.
Falkland Palace and Gardens (SNT) are just 8 miles away and visitors can enjoy a boat trip to see where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned at Loch Leven Castle which is also a delightful picnic spot. St Andrews is a 25 mile drive. Shop and pub serving food are within 1 mile.
Our Opinion of Bramble Cottage
This delightful cottage has a lovely traditional feel with stripped wood floors and period features. We love the location which is peaceful and relaxing but not to far from local amenities. Outdoor activities are plentiful in the area and include golf and horse riding. We would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for tranquil base for an active holiday.
