Bow Well House

Bow Well House

Set in a charming and peaceful village just 8 miles from gorgeous sandy beaches this beautifully restored Grade II listed house offers an outstanding holiday base. Delightfully combining luxurious modern comfort with its many period features – its bathrooms are particularly impressive – Bow Well House makes an especially welcoming retreat after a day's fishing or golf.

The ancient village of Norham resting on the banks of the Tweed and dominated by the castle ruins boasts a number of traditional small shops and a pub serving food (200 yards away) whilst historic Berwick-upon-Tweed with its Elizabethan walls and barracks variety of shops and restaurants is 8 miles away. From here visitors can take the train to the vibrant cities of Edinburgh and Newcastle (both are only a 45 minute journey). Bamburgh Castle,  Holy Island and Seahouses are all within easy reach as are St Abb's Head Nature Reserve and Coldingham Bay and Alnwick Castle and gardens are under an hour's drive. Excellent fishing and golf are available nearby.
