This charming beamed cottage the end one of three enjoys a peaceful rural setting, yet is only ½ mile from the village shop and local pub which serves excellent food. Close by are Hickling Broad nature trail, How Hill Trust nature reserve and the North Norfolk Steam Railway whilst lovely sandy beaches at Sea Palling and Walcott are just 6 miles away. Cromer's traditional seaside delights are within easy reach and Norwich a medieval city with many historic and cultural attractions as well as excellent shopping is 10 miles away.
Our Opinion of Apple Cottage
We love the rustic charm of the exposed beams at Apple Cottage which give the property a traditional feel. Close by the village inn serves excellent food using local produce where possible. The cottage is also ideal for nature lovers as there are several nature reserves close by. For a fun day out you can visit the towns of Sea Palling and Walcott where you will find lovely beaches. Overall this is a lovely holiday cottage in a rural location with easy access to local attractions.
