Brixton Barn
Perfect for a romantic break this 200 year old thatched barn was once used as a National Trust office and has now been converted into a gorgeous holiday retreat featuring Travertine marble floors, underfloor heating and a luxurious ensuite bathroom.
Set just ½ mile from a sandy beach it sits in the medieval village of Brighstone (pronounced locally as Brixton hence the Barn's name) a ¼ mile stroll from the welcoming local pub and village stores. Totally unspoilt and threaded with lovely walks and cycle paths the surrounding countryside is a joy to explore there are miles of sandy beaches close by and a great range of attractions within a short drive. Newport is 7 miles away and sailing at Yarmouth is within 10 miles.
Our Opinion of Brixton Barn
This delightful thatched cottage combines traditional charm with contemporary and luxurious fixtures and fittings. The cottage is perfect for couples looking for a romantic escape. We love the stylish Travertine marble floors and luxurious ensuite bathroom. Locally guests can enjoy a fine sandy beach, walking and cycle paths and several seaside resorts.
