Set on the fringes of Aviemore village a wonderful location for enjoying the great outdoors in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, these superbly appointed and beautifully furnished properties offer a very high degree of comfort. Sitting in a quiet cul de sac they are ideal for family gatherings. Three properties enjoy their own private hot tub and a digital infrared sauna with music and colour system all four properties also enjoy corporate membership for 2 adults and 2 children (under 16 years) to Dalfaber Country Club offering swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, gym and 9 hole golf course. At extra charge you can also enjoy badminton, squash court, indoor and outdoor tennis court, table tennis snooker and carpet bowls.
Aviemore is a renowned centre for outdoor pursuits – excellent climbing and hill walking, competition standard mountain bike tracks, water sports on Lochs Morlich and Insch and of course skiing and snow boarding in season are just some of the activities on offer. The fishing and golf are similarly excellent. Sled dog rides, train trips to the resort at the top of the mountain and the Strathspey steam railway are also found here and Britain's only freely roaming reindeer herd can be spotted against the stunning backdrop of Glenmore. Good restaurants themed bars live music and shops are all within ½ mile.
Our Opinion of Allt Mor Cottages
These beautiful cottages are very well appointed at the edge of a lovely village making them peaceful but within easy reach of amenities. We love the luxurious feel of the three cottages which have private hot tubs, saunas and stylish interiors. We would recommend these cottages to groups of friends or families looking for a high standard of accommodation. A special touch is the free use of the local country club for guests which has a swimming pool and golf course. The local area is excellent for outdoor activities including climbing and cycling as well as snow sports. Overall Allt Mor Cottages offer superb accommodation, an excellent rage of facilities and a beautiful location.
