The charming town of Holt with its quaint shops and restaurants is just 10 miles away and the glorious sandy beaches of Holkham and Wells Next The Sea, Pensthorpe Park (of BBC Springwatch fame) Fakenham Races and a dinosaur park are all within an easy drive as are Norwich city and the Norfolk Broads. A Shop and pub are within 1½ miles.
Our Opinion of Apple Tree Cottage
We just adore this 200 year old traditional cottage and the refurbishment has been very sympathetically done to maintain the rustic charm. The cottage sits along side the owner's home in lovely grounds and is a relaxing base from which to explore Norfolk. This cottage would be ideal for families or groups of friends as it is not too isolated and there are many attractions within easy reach including Pensthorpe Park made famous by BBC Springwatch and the glorious Norfolk Broads.
