Alborough House
Lovely views over the Tas Valley and a delightful rural setting affording sightings of fox cubs, pheasants and the occasional deer feature at these traditionally restored and very comfortably furnished barns. Exposed beams and Norfolk wood floors create a cosy cottage appeal and each cottage boasts its own private garden.
Adjoining the owners' home over whose land visitors can enjoy pleasant walks, they lie within a short drive of many attractions including Banham Zoo, steam museums at Bressingham and Forncett and Wymondham Abbey as well as the village of Long Stratton and attractive market town of Diss. The medieval city of Norwich is 9 miles away and a pub and shop are within 1 mile.
Our Opinion of Alborough House
These traditional cottage style barns have a wonderful rural setting and are ideal for nature lovers. We particularly like the rustic charm of the barns with exposed beams and wood floors. Each barn also has a private garden which makes them a good option for those with children. Close by you can enjoy numerous attractions including Banham Zoo and Wymondham Abbey. Overall we would highly recommend this site to small families looking for a rural location with stunning views and cosy accommodation.
