Enjoying its own garden it sits near two similar properties within an easy drive of Bude's extensive sands and surfing waves and the busy quayside at Bideford from where boats regularly sail to Lundy Island.
A trip to the coastal village of Clovelly where donkey sledges are the only transport should not be missed and walks at Hartland Point afford magnificent views of the Atlantic. The market town of Okehampton - a main centre for exploring the Dartmoor National Park is easily accessible as is the Dartington crystal factory at Great Torrington. Golf, riding and fishing are available locally. A pub serving food and shop/P.O. are within ¼ mile.
Our Opinion of Buttercups
It is the location of this lodge that makes it so perfect for family holidays! The gorgeous town of Bude with its sandy beaches, shops, bars, restaurants and traditional family attractions is just a short drive away. A day trip to Lundy Island is highly recommended as is the coastal village of Clovelly. The property also has a private garden which is the ideal place for children to play.
