Panoramic views are a feature of this well apointed Victorian cottage enjoying an elevated setting just five minutes' walk from the heart of Dartmouth (pictured) where visitors will find a wonderful array of shops galleries cafes restaurants and watering holes. Perhaps the loveliest of the South Hams towns Dartmouth's charming harbourside setting historic buildings and narrow winding streets make it a truly delightful base for a Devon holiday. Dartmouth Castle perched above the River Dart about a mile out of town can be reached by passenger ferry and there are plenty of boat trips available up river to Dittisham Greenway and the ancient river port of Totnes. For a day on the beach the spectacular bay and blue sea at Blackpool Sands (5 miles) or mile of unspoilt shingle beach at Slapton Sands are nearby and this is a glorious area for walkers keen cyclists and sailing enthusiasts. Within an easy drive visitors can explore both Kingsbridge and Salcombe a renowned centre for sailing and water sports of all kinds as well as fascinating National Trust properties at Agatha Christie's Greenway Garden Compton Castle and the magical garden and house at Coleton Fishacre. Shops and a pub serving food are 5 minutes' walk down the hill.
