Beatrix Potter's home, Sizergh Castle, Levens Hall, Coniston Water and the many delights of the Lake District are easily accessible. Many footpaths and horse riding are available locally. Golf is within 3 miles and a shop and two dining pubs are just 200 yards away.
Our Opinion of Amber Cottage
The location of this cottage is really something to shout about with Lake Windemere just 6 miles away. The village setting means that the property is peaceful without feeling isolated and there are plenty of attractions close by. We love the contemporary style of the cottage which is very well equipped for self catering. Outdoor activities are plentiful in the area and include golf and horse riding. We feel that Amber Cottage is ideal for holidays all year round.
