From here branch line trains follow a scenic riverside route to the pretty fishing port of Looe (10 miles pictured) where visitors will find a sandy beach inns and restaurants and an array of eclectic shops amidst its maze of narrow winding streets. Exhilarating walking on Bodmin Moor Sterts open air theatre and the famous Carnglaze Caverns are all close by whilst the quaint and exceptionally pretty village of Polperro (once a thriving centre for the smuggling trade) Plymouth the fascinating Eden Project and Lanhydrock and Cotehele (both N.T.) are all a little further afield. Shops in Liskeard; pub serving food on site 50 yards.
