Perranporth – a popular family resort with golf and a boating lake – is just 2 miles Newquay's famous surfing beaches are 7 miles and superb walking can be enjoyed along coastal paths and across moorland dotted with ancient standing stones. A fun park steam railway and N.T. houses and gardens lie within a short drive with Eden and the Lost Gardens of Heligan a little further afield. Goonhavern village (¼ mile) boasts a shop pub and The World in Miniature. The city of Truro is 10 miles.
