Set close to the owners' home it lies just 8 miles from Hartlepool's marina seafront and Maritime Experience where a recreated 18th century quayside comes complete with HMS Trincomalee – dating from 1817 it is Europe's oldest warship afloat. The fascinating cathedral city of Durham is only 11 miles whilst a 40 minute drive leads to the vibrant cities of Newcastle and Gateshead with their Sage Music venue Baltic Art Centre and great shopping. Closer to home lovely country walks start at the door golf and fishing are found nearby and sandy beaches are only 6 miles. Shop and pub serving food 3 miles.
