Nestling in peaceful seclusion near the river in the lovely Stinchar Valley at the heart of the Bardrochat Estate this very comfortable single storey cottage is sure to delight nature lovers and fishermen alike. There is pleasant walking on the estate the gamekeeper can arrange fishing (extra charge) whilst a nature reserve lies at the river mouth just south of Ballantrae (4 miles) and the Galloway Forest Park offers superb cycle trails. Ancient castles and churches dot a landscape steeped in history – Culzean is well worth a visit. Golf at Royal Troon or Turnberry is a short drive and a village shop and hotel/bar are 1½ miles.
